The overall Sotheby’s auction resulted in $8,753,568 in sales including buyer’s premium. The top selling pieces included Patek Philippe 2499 which sold for $815,637. In addition, a rare Rolex “Paul Newman” Daytona which sold for $233,150. The Patek Philippe reference 2499 was a yellow gold, perpetual calendar chronograph including moonphase and tachometer scale. It was originally sold, December 1962.
