Cartier is bringing back an old time favorite in 2014, the Tortue. The Tortue was one of the first watches produced by Cartier in 1912, followed up by the Tonneau, the Baignoire and the Crash watch. The relaunch will include two new models. The small model will house a mechanical movement in rose or white gold with diamond bezel. The medium model will be designed with manual winding in rose or white gold with a diamond bezel.
An extension of the Calibre de Cartier watch line is being introduced. The Calibre de Cartier Diver’s watch. The case size will be 42mm, with a unidirectional bezel, hands, Super-LumiNova dive-time indicator and water-resistance to 300 meters. The caseback features a “Diver’s watch 300 m” engraving. The Calibre de Cartier Diver will be produced in steel and rose gold.
